The Secret Song Club organizes music parties, house concerts, and open mics in backyards and living rooms throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. They’re all about creating listening spaces where people can hear music with less background chatter. You don’t have to be a songwriter or a musician to attend. Everyone is welcome.

This place is a gem, and run by a gem of a person and master songwriter, our friend, Ira Marlowe, who we’ve known since we first cut our teeth at the Bazaar Cafe in San Francisco over 20 years ago. His place in Berkeley is a magic spot where folks can gather to hear beautiful live music and be together in the warm embrace of community. Payment can be done with venmo in advance via the email above, or at the door on the night of the show payments can be made with cash or venmo, (credit cards are NOT accepted). This place is also BYOB and is a storefront theater located at 1638 University Ave, near Sacramento, just three blocks from North Berkeley BART.
